The story of CDRG+RedTeam begins with Mainville Frigon, a stone artisan from a small town in northern Quebec who moved his entire family of 9 to Ottawa in the 1950s to start a family home-building business in hopes of offering his family an opportunity to build on what they loved to do. Crafting.
After several years building his masonry company he founded Frigon and Sons and began building beautifully crafted homes for single families.
By the 1960s, Frigon & Sons had become a full general contracting company. It was headed by Mainville’s sons and was involved in the development of residential projects in the Ottawa area.
In 1979, Ray Frigon son of Mainville and father of current CEO of CDRG+RedTeam Simon Frigon officially launched a dedicated disaster restoration division (Eastern Building Consultants Services) to service a growing need in the insurance property restoration sector.
In 2004, Simon Frigon founded the Canadian Disater Restoration Group aka the CDRG+Redteam which is today Canada’s largest cooperative of property design rebuild craftsmen.
Simon has led CDRG since its inception, where he has successfully applied his business acumen and disaster restoration expertise to benefit numerous esteemed companies. His extensive knowledge has empowered him to devise solutions across diverse disaster restoration sectors, including large loss commercial drying, emergency response plans, bio-hazard recovery, and specialized restoration services.
With hundreds of successful restoration solutions to his credit, Simon delivers strategic insights and vision that are unmatched in today’s market. His twenty years of experience, coupled with his comprehensive understanding of the business landscape, make him an invaluable asset to any national advertising campaign.

Among Simon's personal achievements are his roles as President of three successful companies and his graduation from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Business. Additionally, a significant aspect of Simon's life is his dedication to his family.
